Workshop on Mechanical Drawing Organized

On 11 May 2012, the Project organized the workshop on introduction of third angle projection to mechanical drawing course as an activity under Output 1.

20 lecturers from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering Faculty, Mechanical Center and Vietnam Japan Center participated in the workshop. Mr. Fumio Inagawa, JICA Chief Advisor presented how to teach the difference between third angle projection and first angle projection in a visible way by utilizing an acrylic box and a sample object.He suggested that relevant faculties and centers should teach students drawing layouts will be opposite in two projections utilizing lessons for CAD.The sub working group members for mechanical drawing courses are improving the curriculums and assignments for mechanical drawing courses.Vietnam Japan Center and Mechanical Center will start improved courses which include lessons for third angle project, geometric tolerance, and fitting and tolerance from Oct. 2012, while the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering is planning to launch the revised course from Oct. 2013.
