HaUI Lecturers Participated in JAVADA’s Skill Test Seminar on Lathes

On 7-9 March 2012, Mr. Phan Thien Viet, lecturer of VJC Machinery Processing Course, participated in the seminar on skill test for conventional turning machines organized by Japan Vocational Ability Development Association (JAVADA).

Through the seminar, Mr. Viet learned how JAVADA organized national skill tests.In particular, he was impressed by the detailed list of important notes in the implementation guideline and the carefully-elaborated assessment criteria for product appearance and tolerance.Mr. Viet also joined the demonstration and got the highest score among participants.

On 18 April, he shared his findings with lecturers from VJC and Mechanical Center in a technology transfer workshop.HaUI will try to utilize what their lecturers learned through this seminar when they will organize skill tests and skill competitions in the future.
