5S Lecture for the Faculty of Automobile Technology Provided

On 3 December 2011, Mr. Junichi Mori, JICA Expert, provided the basic 5S lecture for about 100 lecturers and students of the Faculty of Automobile Technology.

After the lecturer, Mr. Cat, Mr. Kien and Mr. Dung, 5S trainers, explained their experiences about how to start and maintain 5S activity. Then students had the group work to discuss about solutions for some 5S problems in HaUI. Three selected groups presented their proposals. The Faculty of Automobile Technology took the chance to reconfirm about Toyota Center as 5S model workshop. However, their 5S implementation in Toyota Center and in some workshops, offices or classrooms should be more visible. Therefore, after the 5S training, lecturers and students of the Faculty of Automobile Technology should utilize what they learned to improve their 5S implementation.
