The visit of Japanese Foreign Minister to HaUI

At 8:45, July 28, 2010 Mr. Katsuya Okada, minister of Japan Foreign Affair Ministry has paid a visit to HaUI. Accompany with the minister were Mr. Mitsuo Sakaba, ambassador of Japan to Vietnam, Mr. Motonori Tsuno, Chief Representative of JICA Vietnam and other officers of Japan Foreign Affair Ministry and embassy.

To receive the minister were Mr. Hoang Van Dien, Rector of HaUI, Mr. Tran Duc Quy, Vice Rector and head of departments such as: Administrative Dept., ICD, Training Dept., Science and Technology Dept., Automobile Faculty and VJC.

On behalf of HaUI, Mr. Dien had warmly welcome the Minister and other officers and briefly introduce history and development of HaUI. Also Mr Dien expressed his gratitude to Japanese government and people, especially JICA Vietnam for helping HaUI with Project no.1 (2000-2005) and Project no.2 at the moment (2010-2013).

At the meeting, Mr. Katsuya Okada thanked HaUI for its kind receive. He appreciated effort of HaUI in supplying multi-field and multi-level training, especially in vocational training which supply skilled technicians for Vietnamese and Japanese labor markets.

The minister and other members have visited workshops and facilities of VJC located at first and second floor of A7 building.
