5S Training Provided for New Students

On 10 Sept. 2012, HaUI provided a half-day 5S training for new students in the university courses.

Four 5S trainers, Mr. Quang (Vice Rector/Chairperson of 5S committee), Mr. Hung (Vice Head of Training Dept.), Mr. Thanh (Director of VKC), and Mr. Cat (Head of Machinery Processing Unit, VJC) provided the training which consists of: (i) lecture of basic 5S concept; (ii) group work on selected 5S problem sets; (iii) study tour to a model workshop and office; and (iv) practice to pick up wastes in campus.HaUI has provided the same training for new students in vocational and professional secondary courses and will provide for students in college courses.This was a remarkable step for integrating 5S into HaUI’s school culture.In addition, 5S trainers have shown that they digested what they learned from JICA experts through the training.This assures the sustainability of project activity.
