On 2 October 2012, HaUI organized the presentation ceremony of high quality cutting tools donated by Fujiya Co., Ltd.
Fujiya was established in 1923 and has continued to be a leading manufacturer of high quality nippers and pliers with around 40% of market share in Japan. Fujiya started the production in Binh Duong, Vietnam since 2007 and established new factory there in June 2012, aiming to expanding both export and domestic sales in Vietnam.
In the ceremony, Mr. Yasunobu Nozaki, President of Fujiya said that they donated 8 kinds of their products to HaUI, because they wanted HaUI lecturers and students to experience benefits from using high quality and long lasting cutting tools. He hopes that this would contribute to industrialization of Vietnam.

Mr. Ha Xuan Quang, Vice Rector of HaUI appreciated contribution of Fujiya and promised that HaUI would fully utilize the donated tools not only for training in HaUI but also for training for lecturers from other training institutions. Representatives from enterprises such as EDH, Cat Lam, Kim Long, and CNC Vina also joined the ceremony and the trial of tools in VJC’s workshop. In the trial of tools, participants experienced how sharp and handy Fujiya’s tools are. VJC/HaUI would welcome enterprise experts or lecturers who want to experience the quality of Fujiya’s tools.
